Started its journey as “Tawari Engineers & Fabricators” since 1992 under the leadership of Mr. L.J. Tawari, ASTUN pioneers in delivering bespoke engineering solutions across diverse sectors such as Nuclear, Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, and more, both nationally and internationally. With our design office in Vashi and three factories in Rabale, ASTUN boasts a robust infrastructure equipped with the latest design tools, software, and a vast in-house database.
Our services range from supplying process equipment tailored to client specifications to providing specialized systems engineered to incorporate the Best Available Technology (BAT). ASTUN is PESO (CCOE) approved equipment supplier as per SMPV regulations.

Key Leaders
Mr. L. J. Tawari
The pioneering visionary has assembled a team of highly skilled individuals, fostering unity and collaboration, resulting in the delivery of top-tier engineering solutions. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from BITS, Pilani. He began his career at BARC in the Reactor Engineering Division under Shri Anilji Kakodkar's mentorship. He worked with UHDE India and Ciba Geigy before founding Las Engineering Services in 1986, followed by Tawari Engineers & Fabricators in 1992.
Currently, he serves as the Chairman and Managing Director at ASTUN.
Santosh Tawari
Santosh Tawari holds a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay and completed his Masters (MS) in Fluid Mechanics from Cornell University, NY, USA.
He commenced his career with Hindustan Lever Ltd. before joining our company in 2001.
In his exceptional role, he spearheads the provision of optimal technical solutions and innovative approaches for our clients, ensuring timely project delivery with excellence.
